So Seal Beach is a wonderful place.... for so many reasons! You wouldn't think of the beach as a great winter destination, but Seal Beach is! During the winter a "sand berm" is put up along the south side of the pier. The city puts this berm up for many reasons, these reasons however are of no consequence to those who visit it! Those who visit come for one reason.... to sled down it!
