Ingredients for a Great Party!

So I have learned that it doesn't really take much to have a great kids birthday party! Geez I wish someone would have told me that before I threw Preston's First and Second Birthday Parties! (I may have gone a little overboard :)

The three ingredients for a successful birthday party are:

1.) A Jumper for the kids!! This is really a treat for the parents too because the kids are usually so worn out from a day of jumping that they sleep like a rock!

2.) A great party also has good food. For this one we kept it pretty simple! Hot Dogs, Brats, Homemade Mac and Cheese, Pasta Salad and Chips!

Here's one of the Birthday Boys!!

3.) Here's the other birthday boy with the Third Ingredient for a great party.... the Cake! It doesn't even have to be anything fancy... just chocolaty and delicious!

The party was a success! The kids had a blast... the parents all had a great time too! Parker was covered in cake, as a 1 year old should be at his First Birthday Party! Then all that was left was Clean Up Time!

Thank you to Bios, he got in on the clean up action! But nothing does the job like the hose! Sometimes ya gotta just strip your kid down and hose em off!

Great Party! Oh yeah we also requested that people bring a book for a gift and instead of wrapping just sign the inside and leave unwrapped! It sounded like a good idea, as it turns out.... it was a GREAT idea! We recieved some great books and it was so nice to have them personalized! It also made transporting gifts from Las Vegas to California a snap!
