Girls Day!

(We forgot to take pictures... so this old picture is the only one I could find of the three of us!!!)

So normally I blog about my boys... but this post is a little different!!! I'm gushing about my wonderful weekend last weekend because I got to spend time with my two BFF's! It was a girls day, just girls, no kiddos!!

It started with Angie coming out to Seal Beach on Thursday night, we spent Friday enjoying the beautiful weather and taking Preston and Parker to the Park and all around town! Saturday morning we woke up at 5am to catch a 7:07am flight that did not actually depart until 8:30!! Yes.... an hour and a half delayed while we were on the plane (or what Angie likes to call "The Flying Popsicle"). It was unbearably cold on this plane and the hour and a half felt like a day and a half!

We finally arrived in Sacramento to visit with my other BFF Amy. For anyone reading who doesn't know... we all went to dental hygiene school together! So we were having a little reunion!! Amy picked us up and we got to see her beautfiul home (which I have been a long time admirer of, but Angie had never seen), we got to visit with her family for a minute and then it was off to lunch! Lunch was at a trendy little cafe in Midtown! Lunch was followed by Pedicures (which I have gotten loads of complements on.. btw), then we were off to the mall for some retail therapy!! I actually bought something (just makeup but still). Then Angie and I introduced Amy to Forever 21 where she actually made a purchase! :) We then went for some sushi and treats! This wonderful sushi place we went to had treats.... really good treats! Then it was back to the airport for a 7:07pm flight (which actually left on time). Home by 9pm and in bed by 10pm!! Ahhhh... what a day!

It was so nice and refreshing. With all of our lives being so busy these days it can be so hard to catch up on everything!! We definitely got all caught up, had loads of fun, and spent quality time with good friends! I can't wait to do it again!
