So how does a baby get a black eye you might ask. Well if we are talking about Parker... and we are... there are many ways. This poor kid gets hurt all the time. It is just so sad. He bonks his head almost everyday. Now when I say bonk.... I mean BONK.
This little injury came in the bath. I'm sure most moms can agree, this is up there with some of parents greatest fears. I have been terrified forever that my kid is going to slip and fall and knock teeth out or knock an eyeball out. How my imagination has wondered. So on Sunday Parker made my nightmare come true. He stood up in the bath, lost his grip on the tub and slipped and hit his eye right on the tub. It immediately was swollen and puffy and bruised. So sad! In this picture it is looking much better but you can still see it, and this is 4 days later! Poor kid. He just can't catch a break!
