I'm my own Paparazzi!

Can I blog about my new lens? I mean this thing is amazing! I used to be impressed with my camera.... but now I am just astounded! This lens is really not even that fancy (as far as lenses go). I am just loving it! It has been super fun to rediscover my camera again! I have a good friend that told me about this lens, and he really should become paparazzi. He takes amazing photos and I listen very intently when he talks about photography, and when he suggests a lens to purchase! This lens is the Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II. It was a steal at 99$.

Now, another reason I'm loving my camera is because I bought this adorable camera strap. Cuteness!!



So I'm sure you are thinking.... okay you are loving your camera, but have you even taken any photos with your new lens? The answer is... Heck Yeah I have!

Ahhhh. Here's my baby! Sweet Parker! I love to catch his funny smile in my photos!

This is one of my favorite things about this lens. It will really focus on an object and blur out the other objects in the photo! This was really just kind of a practice photo... but I love it!

Really all of these were just supposed to be practice pictures, but I just love them so much! Yes this is Parker walking into his closet! LoL!

Somehow this is one of my favorites. I'm not sure why! I just love catching my kids doing something so sweet and childlike!

Oh Preston!! The faces you make. This kid cracks me up!

I took my camera (and new lens :) to Las Vegas with me last week and managed to snap a few shots of my cute nephew! This is Brody! Cheesing it up!! What a cutie!
